A few years ago I was messing about with a drum machine a lot. I became quite addicted to hitting those buttons, and thought the UI might make for a fun mobile phone game.
I'd also been doing some Flutter development for a location tracking app for bus fleets, and thought I could learn a bit more dart. I built the game, played it a bit then, as often happens, my interests took me in other directions before I actually got round to launching it.
Recently I stumbled across the repo again and thought I'd bring it back to life. Messing around with various app stores, and specifically dealing with iphone builds, is not much fun, so I wondered if I could just target the web platform and launch it there. I switched off all the iphone/android game center stuff, and ran it up in a browser. It just worked!
So, here is Beat Drop. It is for mobile phones - open it on a mobile phone. I guess an ipad or whatever would work too.
Open this link on a phone. Make sure your sound is on. People tell me it's too hard, but I reckon you can do it. I believe in you!
